London Part 3

Cars - not as many Minis as I would have thought, but I did spot a shabby Scimitar GTE , several Ferraris (recent ones - Modenas and a Scaglietti, I believe), a Maserati QP, what might have been a Marcos, an XJR convertible in the MTV parking lot, standing out in a background of Focus, 206s, and London cabs.
Cycles - Did spot a Caspian Blue Triumph Daytona 955i JUST LIKE MINE. London didn't seem to be a scooter city like Barcelona and Paris. Sure, there were plenty of buzzing step through two strokes on the streets, but big sport bikes were out in equal numbers. The weapon of choice seemed to be GSXR, for which to shoot the gap through London's slick streets and overpasses. Very few cruisers, metric or otherwise. The only Harley I saw as a Buell.

Jerry Springer, the Opera - cheap day of the show ticket on the front row. Most expletives of any musical in recent memory. My recent memory. With nice baroque singing duel between the devil ("Fuck you!") and Jesus ("Talk to the stigmata!"). Worth the 10 pounds, no doubt. Which was followed by..

Gordon's Wine Bar - Featuring claustrophobic subterranean candlelit seating that made everyone look good. e.g. see!
