Casting Couch at Room 710 - December 15, 2004

Hand bell, dammit.

I heard three bands played at Room 710 last night, and only one had a bass player. It was the only band that had competent handbellery. That was the Casting Couch . Sound was good, the glockenspiel was nicely balanced with the accordion, and the arrangements of sound better each time I've heard them. Julie's song "Baby Doll" rocked in a southern style, and Lynn's pop tune arranged for the B3, 10 hands, was outstanding. Too bad the crowd wasn't larger. Can't wait to hear their gig at the Hole tonight.
