Casting Couch (Plugged and Unplugged), Benko (Spider House & Carousel 082805) 


Sweating and then not sweating, but always drinking beer. 

The Casting Couch played two early sets at the Spider House, semi-plugged in the hot sweaty evening, playing leisurely backyard versions of their assembled pop hits.

Then they packed up their equipment, headed over to the Carousel, and played a set following the very rocking set by bass/drums/vibes trio Benko

Half Way (?)

The Couch blitzed it way through the set, to regain tempo yang, with enough high distortion fury and dense fuzz to make your short hairs stand on end. Plus, the Carousel was air conditioned.

Bright and Hollow Sky closed down the evening with a swirly psych textures despite the Carousel's notorious sound gremlins.
